Our mission at Hillcrest Family Music is to get your whole family playing music together- from the smallest to the biggest and from the youngest to the oldest.

To that end, we offer education for even the youngest members of your family through Music Together, a research-based early childhood music curriculum that has been serving families throughout the US and worldwide for over 35 years.

We also offer private instruction to older students, but these are not just any violin lessons. We want your children to become not just music players but music creators! We focus on the basics, yes, but we also teach playing by ear and reading chord charts through the curriculum Fiddlequest.

Our vision is that you can accompany your child on a chord instrument, if you play one, and little ones can join in Family Jam night in their own way as well!
